I have always wanted to make pottery, jewelry and have developed a passion for photography. I love to recycle and upcycle. I am inspired by what can become.
I create a wide range of handcrafted ceramics. Simple forms with functionality in mind paired with a limited palette of glazes and layers of slips.
I create individually hand-crafted ceramics inspired by the rugged landscape and ancient history of Scotland. They include planters and sculptural forms.
Michaela and Chris Goan
Chris and Michaela work together, in their garden studios, on ceramic pieces which reflect the beauty of the area, using words, textures and simple sketches.
All glass is produced in our studio which overlooks Loch Long: we are influenced by the colours surrounding us and the latest styles and innovations in glass.
Using hand-printed and dyed anodised aluminium and inlaid polymer clay l create fun and colourful jewellery reflecting the patterns in nature that surround me.
I use genuine gemstones, silver and copper wire and plate to create unique pieces of jewellery. I also do macrame and other techniques that I am happy to teach.
Using silver, gold,platinum and gemstones I love to recreate the fluidity of nature. Commissions and weddings are always welcome.

I make sterling silver gem set jewellery. I like to use mixtures of shapes and unusual natural stones. My work involves themes- curls, leaves and waves.
I’m a metal worker moved from commercial work to make domestic pieces, mainly mirrors and photo frames, pewter brass and copper being most favoured by clients .
I work mainly in silver but use copper for sculptural pieces and wall panels. All my work is entirely handmade so that no two pieces will ever be identical.

I love visitors to my studio to share the botanical studies, landscapes, sea studies, in water colour, oils and acrylics. Prints, cards, bits also available.
My paintings are inspired by the landscape and nature. I enjoy using colour and working with acrylic oil and glass. I try to capture the light in the landscape

Recently developing my new direction of painting further, layering collage, oil pastels and inks. Large and small sea/landscapes and all in our new studio.

We hand build ceramics using earthenware clay to show the vibrant colours. Our pottery is inspired by our love of nature and music.
