Expressing myself using colour has been important to me throughout all aspects of my life.

For many years I have enjoyed experimenting with tie dye patterns on different applications, from home textiles, including tablecloths, cushions; to garments of all shapes and sizes, from outerwear to bandanas and scarves. I use a wide palette of vibrant colours.

Part of the process which fascinates me is the element of mystery of how the finished project will look. Certain aspects can be controlled: the choice of colours and the positioning of the folding, twisting, pleating, and crumpling of the fabric, but often an unpredictable element adds to the charm and uniqueness of each item.
