David R Munro

west Route

I create hand‑dyed, hand‑stitched leather pieces, each crafted individually with care, character, and custom details that reflect your story.

More

David’s journey into leatherwork began during a difficult chapter of his life. While recovering from a life‑changing accident, he turned to working with leather as a way to focus, heal, and reconnect with his creativity. What started as a quiet hobby soon became a source of joy, purpose, and eventually a craft he fell in love with.
Today, David creates each piece with the same care and intention that first drew him to the craft. Every item is hand‑dyed, hand‑stitched, and individually made, giving it a character that can only come from true craftsmanship. No two pieces are ever the same — each one carries its own story, shaped by the time and attention he puts into it.
Because everything is made by hand, David can tailor any design to suit exactly what you’re looking for, whether that’s a specific colour, size, or a personal touch like embossed initials. His bags are created one at a time, thoughtfully designed to match your needs and your style.
If you have an idea in mind or want to explore a custom piece, David is always happy to chat and help bring your vision to life.
