I am a fluid acrylic abstract artist working mainly with paints and pigments. I create a variety of functional pieces as well as unique wall art.
Living in Cowal
I was born in Greenock and spent the first 10 years of my childhood living on the Isle of Bute before moving away with my family. In 2020 I moved back across the water to Colintraive
While living in Colintraive I have been able to pursue my passion for art, and which has allowed me to cultivate my distinctive techniques over the past several years.
I am a fluid acrylic abstract artist, inspired by the natural colours and textures of the sea and surrounding area.
Making art
My accumulated knowledge of fluid dynamics has allowed me to exploit differing consistencies within different types of paints; whilst incorporating a diverse range of pouring mediums to achieve eye catching results.
I also incorporate my art into functional pieces including coaster sets, clocks, hanging decorations and small jewellery pieces.
For the weekend of Cowal Open Studios I will be at the Colintraive Village Hall with 2 other members who work with wood and the other with leather so there is a great mixture of unique art and makes being showcased at this venue.
For the rest of the year, please use my email.
