RSW President. Argyll’s seas and skies inspire my often large-scale work in ink and collage. Visitors are very welcome — tea/coffee and possibly cake too!
I am a Scottish painter with over four decades of professional practice.
After 34 years of teaching, I now divide my time between painting and my role within the Royal Scottish Society of Painters in Watercolour, where I have been a professional member for forty years. I was honoured to become only the second woman in the Society’s long history to become President.
While I take my work seriously, I try not to take myself too seriously. At Open Studios I will have a variety of paintings, prints and cards available.
I share Yewtree Studio with award winning artist Bonita Ellmore. It is a warm and welcoming space where we paint, work on commissions, teach individuals and small groups, drink copious amounts of tea and laugh a lot. You would be most welcome to visit.
