Inspired by the wealth of creativity in Argyll, Fynewood opened up their display area to create a gallery where local makers and artists can display and sell their work.
Local artists work is displayed year-round, but this year’s Cowal Open Studios Taster Exhibition will run from the 7th September 2020 in Fynewoods Exhibition Space.
‘We are keen to promote the work of local makers and artists and have examples of their work for sale. We are also quite happy to help you make contact with artists so you can meet them and see more of their work.’
The gallery is situated in Dunoon, the main resort on the beautiful Cowal Peninsula and the maritime gateway to the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park
Dunoon is easily reachable from Central Scotland – you can either drive (up Loch Lomond and down Loch Eck!) or take the ferry across the Clyde from Gourock.
We are at the top of Hamilton Street in the former Dunoon Ceramics factory and have plenty of free parking on site.
