My paintings are a representation of the natural beauty that surrounds me. I use oil paint to create intense depth of colour in my work.
I am fortunate to have lived by three different lochs since moving to Cowal summer in the summer of 2020; The Holy Loch, Loch Riddon and Loch Fyne. Residing in a remote part of the country has allowed me to appreciate and explore untouched natural beauty and develop a new perception of light and perspective. I hope to encapsulate the atmosphere of the ever-changing rugged scenery that the West coast presents.
