Space, light, paint and questioning inspire Antony's practice. He has exhibited and lectured at SFAI China, The Finnish Academy of Fine Art and across the UK.

Originally from Manchester, Antony holds Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Fine Art from Manchester School of Art. Following his postgraduate studies Antony worked for a time at The Whitworth Art Gallery in Manchester before starting on 3 year series of artist residencies and exhibitions which took him around the world and allowed him to exhibit and lectured at The Finnish Academy of Fine Art, Helsinki, Finland and The Sichuan Fine Arts Institute, Chongqing China among others. On returning to the UK Antony took up the post of Course Coordinator and Senior Lecturer at The Independent Art School before founds his own art school: Manchester Art Studios.

Antony now divides his time between his two current studios; Athole House Studio in Dunoon, Scotland  and 10th Street Studio in West Virginia, USA. During Cowal Open Studios Antony will be exhibiting a selection of new works for 2020 produced and inspired by both these beautiful parts of the world.
